Is anyone doing this? This will be my main motivation for growing my hair out because just getting length was not enough. Hopefully, this translates into better health overall.
I do think that heathly hair is a result of overall health, but I don't use the hair as a barometer. The reason being is that I have a friend who is training for a fitness competition (which is healthy) but her hair is in a weave because it's jacked up underneath.
Subconsciously I notice that I will quit things for my hair that I haven't been able to quit in the interest of weight loss alone.
Like when I recently read about how bad fast food was for hair (on a Crown and Glory board) , I ended that lunch trend with a quickness.
Suddenly, I'm all about the hair and consequently I think I'm going to end up being soo much more healthy.
For about 2 months I've been eating salmon daily as well. Those omega oils are going to be so great for my heart and longevity.
And with the insinuation from so many that working out helps hair growth, well, wouldn't you know I recently pulled out my pilates equipment again .
Ha ha. At this rate, I'll be at my ideal weight by my November birthday and hopefully at brastrap (but I don't know ...brastrap is getting further away since I crossed over to become a trimmer)
ETA:
So, hopefully in the future my hopefully brastrap hair will be a barometer of my fine health.
I certainly know hair is a MOTIVATION to health, if not a barometer per se... (since some folks with long hair can be really unhealthy).
