Lets Talk .. Length or Health

Would you allow yourself to lose length in the long run by keeping thin, split broken ends? Or just suck it up to look hot LOL
I'd pick health all the way. I've seen women with long hair that was so thin and had see-through ends because of breakage and splitting, and that kind of situation is never a pretty sight. Short, healthy hair is more beautiful than long, damaged hair IMO. At this point, I have both length and health, and I am thankful for that.

Heath because, it has been said before but I will say it again "thin, see through ends isn't cute) just trim it up and keep it moving.

I definitely think health is important. I would definitely rather have healthy hair than long hair.

As the OP mentioned, i am also somewhat of a hair pefectionist and i also have layers so i get all panicked when my hair starts looking thin to me or not laying right.

Like, i just took my recent avatar pic and i thought my hair looked awful that day and am ready to cut it. But u can't tell by looking at the pic, so i think i might be over reacting. and i'm trying to tell myself not to cut it.

:tantrum:

Im not crazy  Look at my ends!

Phooey! Nothing a MINOR trim/dust won't cure. You'll be fine. Your hair is great :yep:

Besides, what if your hair just grows like that and different parts grow at different rates, then you'd be chopping off hair unnecessarily. Hair is funny like that. Are your ends even SPLIT??

Whenever I run across see-thru ends it always reminds me of playing card with family. If you spent too much time studying your hand someone would inevitably say "Stop begging, you know you ain't got nothin'!" :lachen:

I want healthy hair or braids. :ohwell:

ETA: Khandi I think your hair is beautiful and doesn't qualify for a cut. :nono:
