Using a Deep Conditioner as a Styler

I have the One 'n Only Argan Oil Hydrating Mask on my head right now and I love the way it's clumping my curls.

Does anyone use deep treatments as stylers?

I want defined curls today and I can't find my (rarely used) EcoStyler lol

I'm new to Pj-ism, so I don't know the ropes - I keep it simple normally, just conditioner as my leave-in and styler.

I don't think I'm at risk for over moisturizing, but I'm just wondering if there might be any other adverse effects.

I think I'm gonna rinse this out and then put a smaller amount in as a styler.

Nope, I do it all of the times with no adverse side effects. A small amount on damp hair with Eco Styler just like you described

I'm using the IC reconstructor mixed with a bit of this cony leave in detangler I found at the drugstore and finish it with a bit of black gel for my bun.

I do!

I use whatever conditioner I have to hand, add a little Hot 6 oil and or aloe vera.

Recently I bought 2 different curl defining products - they are okay one was Kerastase the other was from Aveda (I like the Aveda one more) - less heavy than the above. I am yet to find the perfect curl definer. Tips gratefully received!
