USE UP YOUR STASH 2014: Session 1

Wash day last night. Used Silk Elements Scalp Treatment, Giovanni Nutrafix protein treatment. I DCd with SM Restorative Conditioner. I sealed with hazelnut oil and Natty Butter.

I will have the Silk Elements Scalp Treatment forever. So I will make sure I don't buy any more scalp treatments. Between the Silk Elements and the Organicals Follicle Stimulator I have enough.

I'm half way through the Giovanni Nutrafix. I will probably last me through the year. And I have 2 full bottles of the SM Restorative Conditioner.

I have a full 16 oz bottle of hazelnut oil that I am just starting on but it is my new staple oil.

Not feeling the Natty Butter. I will put that in the giveaway box.

Now that my hair is acting better though and responding to more products, I may be pulling products out of the giveaway box. We will see.

I'm not close to using anything up. But just using items a little here and there when I can.

Finally used up a curl junkie curl rehab I had from the infamous Aveyou 40% off flash sale. Will not repurchase. This worked really well for me while transitioning but does nothing for me now for some reason

Also used up an even older kinky curly knot today I had when I first started transitioning. I won't repurchase. It is very light for my hair.

Finished 2 products and updated original list. Wen - Pomegranate gone and the remaining1/2 of the part 1 of Hairveda Methi sativa set gone.

Used up CJ Smoothing Conditioner; 2 left. A bottle seems to last me three washes. I am not sure why I use 4 oz per session to detangle and condition, but I have given up trying to get it down.

My non-existent Stash for funsies:

I am really not worth all that much LMBO! I bought the HE cleansing conditioner.

No mas!

On another note: I hope to finish a conditioner on my next wash day whenever that may be.

Now that my hair is acting and feeling better, I want to buy all this stuff  When my hair hated everything I didn't want to buy anything. I will just have to use self control and work through my stash. I will try out the items I have and if they don't work they go in the giveaway box. Hopefully, I will find new staples in what I already have.

I am noticing that because my hair is behaving, I really don't have to do much to it, so I don't really have any need to use many products :ohwell: I will try to enjoy the ride.

When I went on Target's website last week it said that Oyin was in store at my closest location. I went in three times looking for it even though I'm NOT supposed to be buying anything. Now the site shows that the items are available online only. Good thing. I really didn't want to come in here and have to ADD to my stash list. Not yet.

Used up DB Transitioning Creme; I am giving the last one left away. Coconut oil is so high up on the list, it is making me break out. My skin is priority this year.

Target keeps stepping up their game. I saw Carol's Daughters last week (they had to lower prices to get into Target), and my friend said Alikay Naturals is also going to be in stores this year.

I returned my Lottabody setting lotion yesterday, and I'll probably use up my As I Am Coconut Cowash tomorrow when I wash my hair.

I finished off a bottle of Deva Curl One and have one use left of the Taliah Waajid Curling Creme. I like the curling creme but going to see if I can find something that doesn't leave my hair so stiff. So guess I will shop my stash

I'm still using mine.

My stylist just finished my large tub of Advanced Conditioning Treatment by Verifen Complex. :yay:

Now I have a new smaller jar.

I've only used 7 products so far this session

I'm glad the weather has improved, I can start co-washing again and start using up some of my stash, I may start shampooing weekly whilst I'm using products with cones, reduce my shampoo stash and help to eliminate any coated hair after co-washing.

Added a V05 conditioner to my conditioner mix so that bottle is gone!

I'll be deep conditioning my hair some time this week and will probably cowash with my Organics coconut conditioner prior.

I have been feeling really "blah" about my hair recently. Maybe when I lose some weight, I'll feel better about my hair too.

Threw out the rest of the TW Curling Cream. Will be using products with some type of humectant for the next month or two. Not putting a dent into anything else. For wash day I used
Organicals Follicle Stimulating Conditioner
Hairveda Methi Conditioner
hazelnut oil
Hairveda Burdock Root cream.

Will be cowashing more often so should be able to use some things up.

I used up my As I Am and I tossed two samples. I'll probably use up my Hairveda Acai Berry Conditioner and my Curl Junkie Repair Me next. I love both of these, so I'll probably repurchase once my stash is lower. Using up stuff is still slow going, so I may need to extend my no buy. I was originally taking myself off of it for Mother's Day.

I'm also trying really hard to stay off the Target website. They now have Oyin and Alikay Naturals. The website says they are not available in stores yet, but you can buy online.

I have used up two bottles of conditioner so far, both Aussie Moist. I still have a bunch of HE to use. I am also working on all my dominican conditioners. Hoping to go through two more bottles of that are almost done in another 6 weeks

Target just makes me want to buy up so much stuff. The thing that holds me back in I am in braids or wigs most of the time some I wouldn't be able to use some things anyway

Decided to put in a color rinse tonight, so I DCd first with the Shescentit Banana Brulee. I have less than 1 use of that left. After rinsing I used marshmallow balm, hazelnut oil, qhemet burdock root and twisted with As I Am gel.
