USE UP YOUR STASH 2014: Session 1

⏳ Limited Access:

Register today to view all forum posts.

I received my Natural Oasis products I think last weekend. I will be using the whole set for the month of February to see what I like. Everything else is on hold unless it is an oil or scalp treatment.

I know what to use on wash day but I am not sure what I need to use in between. I will make modifications as I try the products out.

After trying the Natural Oasis last night, I have decided to put the following in my give away/sell box. I will be getting rid of all shampoos. And as I use the product, I will decide if I am going to keep conditioners. I will re-evaluate each category one at a time to see if I will keep what I have or give it away. I will decide on conditioners in March.

5. Used up in 2012: 31 items

I've used up 3 items in the last month. Two were staples so they don't really count, lol. I've been good about only repurchasing hair staples, yet I've been bad about using up other items. A lot of those items only have a few more uses left. My hair is happy right now and I don't want to upset it. My list still seems big but it's shrinking.

I used up It's a 10 Miracle Mask, a big deal for me because it was a big one:

ETA: I couldn't resist the BOGO 50% off sale at Target. I bought SM Curl Enhancing Smoothie (I bought body wash for DD as the other item, so only one hair item). I NEED to know what everybody is talking about!

uofmpanther[/USER];19621539]faithVA , what will you use to cleanse your hair?

I will use either Step 1 (ACV Cleanser) or the Step 3 (Tea Mist) of the Natural Oasis Line. If it doesn't work out, then I will make up my own batch of mudwash to make sure I have a good ph. But I am going to see how the Natural Oasis works alone for now.

I think I'm gonna use up my African pride braid spray soon. (Don't know if that was on the list, but I should be done with that by the time I get out of these twists.

I created a list of items that my daughter and I will use up by the end of this month:

Claudie's Satin Daily Moisturizer
SSI Moisture Mist
Redken Extreme Anti-snap treatment
A bottle of grapeseed oil
Macadamia Healing oil treatment-sample
KeraCare Hydrating Detangling shampoo
SM Extra-Moisture Detangler
CD Monoi Repairing Masque- sample
CD Monoi Repairing Conditioner -sample
SSI Brazil Nut Curly Buttercream-sample

xu93texas Is the Keracare poo a repurchase! Mini review please! Sent from my Speak & Spell using LHCF

Yes, it is a repurchase. I love this shampoo. I've been using this since the beginning of my hair journey. It's sulfate-free, cleanses well, and it's moisturizing. The best thing about it is I can buy it locally. I'm going back to the basics and will go back to some of the products I used at the beginning of my journey.

Used up:

Caviar Curls Moisturizing Spray
Elasta QP Olive Oil & Mango Butter

I'm in the market for a leave in conditioner that's similar to Oyin Hair Dew but on the ground...

The rumor is Oyin will be in Target soon. I hope it is in my Target. I love the hair dew

Used up:
-The Healing Place Mudwash: I love this and would purchase again but I don't know what's up with her shop. Have sent her messages on etsy and Facebook and no response. Might start making my own Mudwash a la Nap85

-SheScentit Moisture Riche Mask: love this DC. Will definitely repurchase after I use some more of my stash but this one is a keeper.

-CoilyHeadChick's hair treat: really love this leave-in but don't like the scent. Won't repurchase. Have better smelling leave-ins.

I'm still trying to use all of mine. My money is tight and spent on more important things.

I didn't realize I had so much until I put them all together in boxes.

Still traveling so I haven't used much. I have 1-2 uses left of my SSI Banana Brulee and my Hairveda Red Tea Conditioner, so maybe these will be gone in a couple weeks.

I love the Red Tea, but my hubby doesn't. It makes the shower too slippery

Just called my sister to see if she wanted to shop my stash, she told me she's a "straight haired natural" now. My products would make her hair revert. I might be able to give her one of my hair oils though.
