Use Up Your Stash 2012 - Session 1

I'm in - 2012 will be the year of the empty shelves! (okay partially)

I can't do another inventory list so my personal pledge is to - not buy nothing!

I have a few staple items. I purchased 1 liter of each to last the year. The one product I'm buying will be Aloxxi Polymedic and its because I have one bottle and its half empty .

First on the list to go -

Old bottle of Alter Ego Garlic - I'm co-washing with this daily to use it up (*This is a staple product and I have another large jar. These last me 1 year) Should be in done with this in 2 weeks.

Next up - Curl Junkie products. Since I won't be repurchasing, lets get them out of the way.....and oils, lots of oils.

Finished off two bottles of Aubrey, 2 bottles of Hairveda and a Redken DC. Almost done with Alter Ego Garlic.

Will be sterilizing and reusing these bottles as refills for my liter bottles to keep in the shower & travel.

Up next - Curl Junkie. I will probably use these as co-washes.

Now I have to either use them up or prepare for worthy product swaps!

Same here. I usually go through products, at least staples, pretty fast but I've been trying to do less with my hair and it really slowed down my product use.

Its funny because I accumulated all these products and didn't really understand how to use them, so they didn't work for me. Now that I've learned so much more I can make them do what I need them to. I might not have to. I am talking to a recruiter about a new position that is located near The Vitamin Shoppe. If that's the case then I won't mind buying it monthly. But right now, its a hassle to drive to that side of town every month to pick up 1 bottle of conditioner

Ohhhh Ok I understand now but no more than 3 months at a time.....Im trying to help you now, we cant fall back into this. I have been on the "Use up your stash" for about 2 years and I swear sometimes I just get outta hand. But now I am to the point where I dont want anything so even when I go out I dont buy anything.

I hear you. I think I am good. I am not buying anything new. I'm just buying staples. And I agree, I wouldn't buy more than 3 bottles of conditioner at a time. If I can catch a good sale, I will buy them online the next time they go on sale. Won't have to drive and won't have to pay for shipping.

I feel bad cause when i use up any bottles i feel like my stash looks empty and i want to buy more. its a real real bad habbit that im working on. i like buying stuff i really want then i sometimes dont even open the dam bottle!
