I know I don't post that often but I just wanted to share some updates with you. My journey started October of last year. I got my usual short haircut and then I discovered this site. I was inspired by the beautiful heads of hair that I've seen from the ladies on this site. So for the first time in my life I've decided to have long hair. My progress is in my siggy. Thank all of you ladies for your comments. Yes I'm quite proud of myself. I never knew how to take care of my hair before. When I was a teenager, and was doing my own hair, I always thought I was supposed to hear the sizzle of the curling iron against my hair. I used the same products that the stylist used so I thought I was doing something. Go figure, lol. Even going through cosmetology school, I was never taught to take care of my hair this way. I'm learning new things and am actually retaining some length and it feels great!
