Updates on the Joico Vapor Fuel Use in the Maxiglide?

I read the ENTIRE Joico iron thread yesterday.

I didn't see anyone see updates on the 2 ladies who said they were going to try the Vapor Fuel in the Maxiglide?

I have a MG I need to throw out b/c I dropped it and the top plate keeps sliding off. I was considering getting the Vapor Fuel and trying it out in the MG for a bit before I pitch the thing.

Does anyone know where I can get this in a B&M store in the Boston area? I will, of course, report back the results.

I tried it. I'll have to say that I still prefer it in the vapor iron though. The MG I have always smells like it's burning my hair, so it rarely gets used. I flat ironed my kinky sew in yesterday and my vapor iron slid through it like a dream. I might do a touch up with my MG to see if it does decently.

I just touched up my hair with the MG using the vapor fuel. It did nothing in regards to making my hair feel soft and shiny like the vapor iron does, however the teethed plates knocked the frizzies and kinks out completely.
