I've seen what your hair regime was...what is your sister's hair regime? How did she achieve that wavy thick look for her hair?

Also, what ALL did u do to get your hair like that (shiny, straight, and everything!) in your March 2004 pics (the last few pics of your hair journey album)???

For my regimen, just check out the FotM March 2004 where I list everything that i use. The only new things that i've put in my hair are:

Protective daily leave in and healthy ends
Lacio Lacio leave in
Salerm21 leave in
Neutrogena Triple Moisture mask, leave-in and serum

I didn't start my healthy hair journey until Feb 2003 (everything except perms/color) and i honestly do believe that LEAVING MY HAIR ALONE and not wearing it out constantly and cutting it all the dang time really helped 2

Bones (babysis) doesn't do anything special to her hair other than wash it and blow it out. Sometimes she rocks the bantu knows or box braids. She achieved her wavy look by removing those 2 cornbraids.

My hair was washed and set at the salon, and then flatironed. The stylist used aveda (name escapes me or else i'd have it

) on my hair so it wouldn't look like an oily mess. It was a heat protectant i believe and it had a faint scent. I then wrapped my hair and when i got home, i took it down and took the flicks.

I use affirm senstive no lye. Have been for the past year. I use to use optimum no-lye but i was always underprocessed/overprocessed so it was time for a switch.
Babysis uses whatever relaxer they put in her hair, as long as it is no lye. I told ya'll, she' does not care.

My hair is currently in layers now but you just can't tell. I don't 'promote' the layers by styling them and such. I did notice a few splits on my shortest layer (shoulderlength) and it was either continue with the layers or cut it all shoulderlength and i was sick of getting yelled at everytime i mentioned cutting my hair

Mainly when she's lounging around the house. I caught her on one of her off days. She normally rocks bantu knots or box braids, or even a ponytail. I love it when she undos her knots (or braids) after about a week and it's all wavy and thick. I HATE HER!
