Your braids are pretty. I like the way the ends curl too. I used to get the family discount too from my cousin who likes to style hair. Everything cost about $10-20 from medium braids to curls . Since im hiding hair from family, she hasn't been in my head for about a year though. oh well...Have Fun!!!!

Definitely dry hair. I washed my hair the previous night and that day when it was partially dry, I combed it out with a K-cutter comb, for her convenience

I've been doing my hair in box braid, but leaving half of my braid undone to see if I could wear it for 2+ weeks straight, because I'll be going on vacation for 2 weeks in July and I don't want to fool with it. Well, I'm on my second week, have rinsed them and they still look great; a little frizzy at the top but I can deal with it. I think this will be my main style for the summer.

I started a thread not too long ago about being asked to pay $100 for box braids...with my own hair. Since I am going to Miami/Bahamas tomorrow, I needed something done to my hair. I didn't feel like fooling with it and box braids are a piece of cake. I called and asked my aunt who used to do hair a long time ago would she braid it. She did such a GOOD JOB and I paid her all of $25 for it. Looks like Auntie will be hooking me up from now on See siggy for pic

Your hair looks great. Your pic inspired me to do the same thing. How many braids do you have? I did about 45 and it took me about 90min, and will keep them in for 2 weeks. How long are you keeping yours for?

BTW, have fun at the Bahamas. I was there for 2 weeks last summer and it was interesting...lol.

ETA: Ladies what hair can I buy that will look like this, curls on the end and all??
