My baby has Type 1 Diabetes and we are having a tough time understanding the disease with out major stress. Please pray that we fully understand and get the knowledge to treat this life-threatening disease so that my 9 year old can have a happy life. He tries so hard to stay in good spirits. I Love him so much and want healing for him. Thanks

I know EXACTLY how you feel, except that mine was 2 yrs and 10 months old. It is a disease of the whole family, not just the child and there is major stress on everyone. He'll make it, though. He will. Get with the support groups at the children's hospital or where ever you are getting treatment. And participate in the holloweens, xmas celebrations, etc. parties they have for the kids and he won't feel like the only one.

And you will never get rid of that sinking feeling that something could happen. It's part of the territory. Follow your instincts as well. Check him when you think you shouldn't or off schedule. You never know. He will make it. You have my heart. My words are not discouragement, but are much encouragement for what I know you are in for. G-d bless you and your family, esp. the little one who's got a new type of life ahead of him.
