TRUE REPENTENCE!

During my daily morning worship and prayer, God spoke to me so clearly on true repentence. Oh how sweet is to be to truly sorry for the sins that we have committed! So I thank God for "Having mercy on me"! "Cast me not away from your presence and take not your Holy Spirit from me"! "Restore me LORD!

It took me years to understand true repentance but now that I truly understand it is a freeing thing in Jesus Christ. The Christian life is a life of repentance and prayer. Not in that I can sin and abuse God's mercy and grace. But that I daily die to self, seek the King's pleasure, and keep communication flowing with Him throughout the day in prayer. Repentance and prayer is a treasure to me. Thank you for posting because it reminds me why I do what I do.
