Ok so I was talking with my cousin, who is a stylist, and she said that she only trims her clients ends every new moon. I was so baffled by this because I had never heard of that before.

I asked her why and she said that if you trim your ends any other time, it will stop your growth, but if you trim on the new moon it will promote growth. Has anyone else ever heard of this? I'm not sure what to think. It's time for me to trim and I'm not sure I want to wait for a new moon. :perplexed

Yes, when and if I want to cut and trim my hair I follow moon phases, go to farmer's almanac, it is the same thing that farmer's and others use to grow things such as crops so basically the same theory.

I basically follow this whole table according to my needs and have had success.

I've heard it and it's and old wives tale. When i do trim my hair i don't care what day it is and my hair grows just fine.
