transitioners what do you do after washing your hair?

whosthatgurl

here.... but i'm not here
like how do you put it up or let it dry? i won't be able to blow-dry it out, so what do i do after i wsh and condition it? i think i use my alberto v05 products tonight. i have the kiwi and lime squezze herbal shampoo which is a claryfying shapmoo, and i have the extra body conitiner which is for normal hair. i don't know what to do after, like in what way to let it air dry. i can kind of aford my hiar to look kid of bad becaue some people wil be on a field trip in 2nd block ol. i'm thinking bandu knots but they get too tight when wet. i would try a wrap, but i don't know how to do a soft wrap, to where it has bod in it, or what to pu t in it to make it have body. so what to do?

okay because i just washed it, and i wraped it with a lotta body, but i may take down the wrap and try the pigtails.

After washing I detangle with a cream conditioner, rinse with cold water, add shea butter and pick it out a bit. I don't use a blow dryer because my hair air dries really quick.

Well, after I wash and condition my hair, I slap on some leave in (Salerm 21 or Lacio Lacio) & coconut oil, and brush it back in a ponytail. I then braid the ponytail and pin it under, so that my relaxed ends can have some curliness to them.

I deep condition for about 45mins, then I blow-dry using John Frieda's Texture Correcting Serum and Straight Forward Creme. I find that when I air-dry I experience ALOT more shedding, so I blow dry it.

I forgot to add that once my hair would dry some, I'd create about 3-4 braids and roll the ends on perm rods so I could have curly ends. Then I'd usually wear my hair in an updo with a scrunchy or barrette. This would usually last 3-4 days. Sometimes I'd rebraid at night and other times I'd just pin it up. I did this 95% of the time that I transitioned and it worked pretty well for me.

Well I am not transitioning but I am trying to relax only every 6 months so I always have alot for growth. After washing I section my hair off in 4 sections and then one section at a time I put in my leave in then comb into a ponytail apply my oil and twist into a bun and continue for all 4 sections. Then the next day if I feel like it I flat iron it out. HTH. /images/graemlins/Rose.gif
