I am going to try each, but I just wondered which you do most/ like most on your transitioning/ natural hair, or find easiest for transitioning/ natural hair. TIA for responding! Feel free to elaborate on why you voted.
So far I take the do nothing route and I just pin my hair up or the style in my avi. Pretty boring but I get way too lazy to try to do anything else with it. Just so easy to pin it up
I am currently transitioning. I am 10.5 months post. Since finding LHCF in September, I am trying to reduce my amount of heat. So I pulled out and dusted off my rollers (havent used those things in over 5 years, I am glad I didnt trash them). After researching youtube and threads here I decided to try a rollerset on my transitioning strands. The first time, I rolled, and pinned curl. which resulted in BIG HAIR! let me tell you. It lasted two days.
Next I tried rollersetting, saran wrap, then flat iron! Disaster I tell you. But i just bought a FHI platform, so I will revisit this one. It may have been the flat iron I used because my hair reverted soo fast.
My new found love is rollersetting, flat ironing roots only (still working on this technique) and then using flexi rods to hold the curl, because I can not wrap my hair because of the NG.
I found that rolling up instead of down helps to straighening out my NG.
