I wash my scalp with a mix of baking soda and water just like I normally would. I rinse my scalp and braids a few times and then I put conditioner on the actual braids and usually I don't rinse it out. I don't find that my braids get looser, but they do get frizzy. I can't really help the frizziness because that's just how my hair is but I usually tie my hair up with a scarf and it lays down pretty well.[/quotE
are you talking about your natural hair or the braid hair?
I wait 2 weeks after getting extensions put in before i let water come anywhere near them! I wash with diluted shampoo. I spray on a liquid leave-in & a braid spray when i'm done. No slipping.
What's the longest I can expect cornrow braid extensions to last before they really start looking like brillo pad? So far, I haven'te even been able to make a twoweek stretch. The longest has been nine days. I wash and DC twice per week, every Wednesday and Saturday. Any tips, ideas, suggestions on making cornrow braid extensions last longer? Don't like boxbraids because they're too time consuming. I can cornrow my whole head in 3- 4 hours.
