Using a conditioner wash with braids

<font color="purple">Last night, I had my hair rebraided to wear for another month. I was considered getting some braid shampoo after the May challenge, but in-between I want to do a conditioner wash with my braids in my hair. I'm not wearing extensions as of yet. My question is this, can conditioner washes work with braids, whether with or without extensions, and can it be used as an alternative to wash and go? I'm also going to use an old stocking cap to keep my braids in place while doing the no 'poo routine. Any responses are greatly appreciated. </font>

i dont see a reasont hat the conditioner method wud not work for the braids that u have except for the fact that the braids may get ravelled more
