I have been there and yes there is life after divorce. Yes, my ex was just as bad and maybe even worse.

Aww, what a nice thread. Yes, (((((hugs))))) to all of you. I may not have ever been married but I've had to depart from an extremely hurtful relationship...and hurt is hurt.

HoneyLemonDrop you make a really good point. Hurt is hurt whether its legally bound or not. So I don't want to forget those separating from BFs and SOs.

We all deserve to be happy whether its with someone or alone.

Big hugs from me too! I am twice-divorced; (yes Xay, I'm the one) and life goes on. As a matter of fact, it has gotten better for me. My third husband is the real deal and my 2 past marriages have made me a better, stronger, and wiser woman. You ladies going through a divorce right now, keep your heads-up, don't forget to pray and remember something better is around the corner.

I am divorced, as well. It was my fault. After that I dealt with a huge amount of heartbreak from my next relationship. Both were hard.

I give hugs to everyone going through these relationship hardships. One good thing is that you most likely will become a stronger person after this.

What a great thread. I too am in the midst of relationship turmoil and am contemplating divorce. Its been an 8 yr relationship (married for 4), and I have finally reached the point where divorce looks like it will equal the piece of mind I have been missing and no one can put a price on that. (((hugs to all of you ladies)))
