I had written something else to another board about something they wrote about me, about how it's wrong to make these generalizations and whatnot, but thanks to SVT, I have decided it's not worth it, if I'm wrong for being offended, please excuse me. Thank you.

I'm a member of both sites although I can't remember the last time I posted there. They have a very specific purpose over there and make no bones about it. I still visit the site but I see a lot of the topics and I'm like "Are you serious?"

I won't knock it though because it serves a purpose for a lot of people. I just feel like I've outgrown the site for the most part.

I just reread what I typed due to a pm i just got and I can see why it reads funny but I am honestly being sincere with what i said. I will not participate in an "all or nothing" board of ANY type. Anyone scared to transition should never join that place, or if you do, heaven forbid you talk about straightening your hair. I don't get down like that. You do what is right for you, nuff said. Now, understanding the nature of that board and why it was started, I would never go over and start a "i love my silky straight permed hair". But Geeze Friggin Louise, no need to bite someones head off over their minor preferences in their journey to achieiving a beautiful head of hair...

Like I said in over there, I'm a member of this site and that site, and they both serve different purposes for me. I see threads on both sites that make me think "WTF?!", but I keep it moving. I really didn't see the point in linking that thread over there......

I used to be an active member at Nappturality...I can still log on....but Nappturality is the reason I'm over here at LHCF. Some people need the type of mentality that is rampant there but to me its not that deep.

I will say that Nappturality cured me of the "bad hair, good hair" syndome but that came as a result of the atmosphere of acceptance, not the relaxer-heat phobia they promote.

I mean it doesn't matter who you are; they come out with :gunner7: heavy artillery every time.

I remember my very first time on the website. I thought that since I had a "silkener" I was technically "natural" cause my hair was still curly. I didn't know any better but that didn't matter. Most of them attacked me like I was the enemy.

I read teh thread at NP. At least it was shortlived. Bmore came in and defended and I didn;t really see anything too negative. So I mean if they don't like LHCF because of the chemical fire creamlachen:) then hey.......................
