Tired of wearing my hair pulled back!

Do you have any pictures???

Not of my relaxed braidout days. This is a close up shot of the unraveled thick braid braidout on my natural hair. It's sort of a crimped look. Not a great pic as it doesn't show the whole shape but you get the idea. You probably won't have a many fly away hairs if you are relaxed. Also you could just braid the front for a bang effect.

I love how your hair is strategically covering your face! LOL!

Okay so last night I decided to rollerset the top of my heat and then pulled the rest of my hair into a high ponytail. This morning I took out the rollers and pulled my hair up into a twist using a claw/clip. I even have a swoop bang :yep: So even though it's not anything major (certainly nothing picture-worthy), it's a simple 'do that protects my ends, doesn't kill my edges, and is more attractive than just a slicked back bun.

Thanks guys!!

I dont pull my hair back tight anymore because it hurts my head and I dont slick down my edges with gel or anything because they are naturally thin and I do not want to loose the little bit god gave me lol. To wear my hair up I essentially do a twist out and then pull it back like a southern tease-ish bun... This allows my hair to be loose so it doesnt hurt. And the texture 4rm the twist out adds a little elegance to me and my hair still looks neat to me. yes it is still a updo but it adds a nice little change of pace. (I will try to post a pic) so you can see what I mean about the edges.

sorry so big. I dont know how to resize.

Also try twist outs for a change in style. I will wear flat twists for 4-5 days pulled back in a low bun and then rock the twist out for a day or so.

I am close to APL too but I dont know about you but i dont like the way my natural kinky twists hang yet but the look nice when I put them in an updo. Unforunately I dont have a pic to show this style

It's like you took the words right out of my mouth.
