2x week with shampoo and do co washes 2x week have you noticed that your hair is softer and more moisturized? I know when I went to get my hair done last week I washed my hair the day before and when she was doing my hair she asked me if I had put any oils in my hair and I told her no. She asked me what I was doing because my hair was soft, smooth, silk and it had a natural oil to it

. So I guess that Shambooise was right about 1 thing that if you wash your more often the natural oils will come

Jellynote,

yeah I got to keep my hands, outta my hair, that's why I may get a phony pony, or wear braids. Shoo, I'm lovin it. Our hair loves water and it's nutrients, therefore it may create it's natural oils, or the product gives moisture to the hair, making it so soft, silky, and slippery. Making it look like a models here.

When I had very short texturized hair (dang near bald), I washed 3 times a week and my hair was softer and shiner. I am too afraid to attempt weekly washing with longer, relaxed hair. I can't get the shampoo to lather, nor can I rinse good. Thats why I'm getting ripped off for 60$ every two weeks.

When my hair was very short I use pay $30 every 2 weeks. That was b4 I found this site. As for taking care of long hair I'm use to it because both my daughters have long, healthy, thick and beautiful hair. I use to cornrow their hair every 2 weeks, but the longer it got the longer it took. Now I cornrow their hair every once in a while. My husband said as they get older that he'll have to

the boys because they're going to love their long hair.

Nessa I was wondering because I knows there's a lot of womens

I wash my hair with a mild shampoo everyday and condition it. I have been doing this since September. I put my last relaxer in the beginning of August. Usually around 16 weeks I get crazy ridiculous tangles and end up having to cut alot of hair out. So far (knocking on wood) my combouts are much much easier than they would have been before washing everyday. I can't wait to see the results after a year but so far my hair is feels much healthier to the touch. If I happen to miss one day of washing it my scalp lets me know right away

My relaxed hair looks, feels and is so much healthier now that I wash every 3 days. I've been doing it now since I came to this board (about 5 months now) and I love my hair! It's soft, moisturized and has much body!

Yep, I've noticed my hair is much more moisturized with the frequent rinsings/C.O. washes. I can't be certain, but it seems to grow better too (probably just my imagination).

I wash my hair sometimes 4x a week with shampoo (quarter-size amount) and conditioner (a LOT of it) and my hair is soft, moisturized, and smooth and shiny.

Right now, I have a half inch of natural hair (transitioning) and the rest is 22 1/4 relaxed hair and both textures are very soft and shiny even though I haven't been using my deep conditioner or leave-in.

Jellynote,

I understand, I am trying my best, I just want long hair, and I got chin length hair, which has plenty of split ends.
