Check them just to be sure. Here's the thread on the JBCO changes that made me take a look at mine: https://longhaircareforum.com/threads/shea-moisture-jbco-line.819343/#post-23968267

Corn syrup is a real turn off. GAME OVER.
There are too many black women owned companies doing great things to deal with that ISH.
It’s springtime. I don’t want bugs.I can understand that. Being someone who wants more unmodified/unrefined natural ingredients.
Although, corn syrup/glucose syrup isn’t inherently bad for hair. Topically speaking (Bad for consumption in high dosages. Too much sugar, etc). It’s very closely related to glycerine and honey, and the high fructose ones act as humectants as well. You can cut the thickness of it with any number of carrier oils. I know you said you don’t like it in your products but, if there’s ever an instance of you being short on cash, it’s a good mask in replace of the more expensive honey masks, or farm made honey brands.
I’ve used it a few times melted down with Shea Butter. Took a while because they are both thick consistencies. It plays well with other homemade masks too like avocado, banana, fruits, etc.
But if it’s still offputting, no biggie. That’s understandable.

No, bees and such.House wise?
Ahhh makes sense. No, bees and such.
Never said anywhere that I was going to stop. I am not a follower. I just don’t understand the thought process of spending money on brands that I don’t like. But I guess we all have our motives behind why we do things. I guess my question came off a bit snarky, but it was a valid question in my opinion. Lol.Why are you so offended? Keep using it! No one is telling you to stop!!!
I like many others thought SM was a fallback. No more with these recent changes.
I used to use the shampoo when I was natural. I bought it again recently and I feel like they changed something. The shampoo doesn't suds up as well and is really hard to wash out. I had to shampoo my hair 3x to get it clean.I bought the Manuka & Honey shampoo from Sally's and I don't see mafura oil or honey listed.

I'm really disappointed. That shampoo worked really well for me before. I even used to dilute it 1:8 with water and it still worked like full strength. But now I had to use do much shampoo and lather up multiple times. And it left my hair sticky and tangled. I was done with shea moisture since way before, but I'm totally done now. They are changing on a lot of stuff. To continue using the two items I plan to continue using I will take my empty bottle with me to the store to compare ingredients, plus keep my receipt. I am not playing with these people.
They sold to Unilever and they are changing the formulas. It sucks because I really like how the JBCO leave in works as a styler.I'm really disappointed. Absolutely. I guess with any line, if it stops working we move on.My hair only behaves with SM Leave In.
I assume the SM Leave in - on store shelves now is a new formulation (if it is reformulated), given the 2017 acquisition date If true, so far so good and keeping fingers crossed it continues.
