Ladies, what is a braid out?

Also, when women are using the term put my hair in a "bun" - what are they talking about? (I think I might have an idea what that is but i'm not sure).

What I have in my sig is my hair in a braidout. (Im in the blue)
Braid your hair and take it out.

And as to buns-women on here have made it an art form but the basic bun involves tucking your ponytail into the holder.

There are a few different ways to do a bun or braidout. However, the above vids more or less show a basic end result.
