I think I saw someone looking just like that yesterday. DH had to tell me to stop laughin. BTW, what's a 27 piece? I'm a sheltered suburbanite.

A 27 piece weave kit contain 27 pieces of pre-cut hair. You cover with a wig cap then glue the hair onto the wig cap to create your style. Basically it's like a homemade wig.
 
You cannot compare that to a 27 piece, that thing in the picture died 10 times, lol..
 
On the positive side, now many women with their own jacklaxed (thanks msa for the reminder) hair can be like "please, I know my hair look good, they actually makes wigs for people to get they hair like this!"

omg. that is a mess. it looks like the relaxed wash and go gone wrong. unfortunately i see girls rockin this a lot. some relaxed hair is just not wash and go hair.​

My cousin came to me last week and asked me what a 27 piece was because her friend told her she should get one.

I told her to DROP THAT GIRL QUICK and never let her near her head.
