It's cute, it looks like braids with extentions in the front & a sew in or phony pony in the back. I would opt for the sew in.

^^^^I agree with the above, but this can also be done as in tree braiding. Braiding the front in the design as shown, and then adding in the curly hair extension, while pulling some out, and continuing on with the process. The other side could possibly be the same but braided maybe 1/2inch before adding the curly hair extensions, so that more of the hair is falling closer to the perimeter of the face profile. HTH!
