In the mall, a guy trying to make me his customer asked if he could touch my hair. Now i said ok. But to try and prove his point when no hair broke off when he rubbed the ends through his fingers, he pulls it harder and pulls some strands off the ends.

Now that doesn't mean it is damaged but you are trying to say it's damaged by pulling and breaking it off with your fingers. and then only 2 strands came out.

Lesson learned: Don't let anyone you don't know touch your hair.

are you kidding me? that's insane I would've been pissed, who guy in the mall? and why is he doing that? that's ridiculous the length they go to sell there products

Oh my! I don't let anybody I don't know touch my hair. I dunno where their hands have been and that grosses me out. And he pulled on your hair?!!?????

yeah you know how the guys who own the beauty salons pass out cards to their salon to the women who they see take care of their hair.

It's called Pretty Lady in Detroit on James Cousens.

But yeah, he was talking about how oil moisturizes and all this crap and how he could make my hair straighter and bouncier than it was now. That means extra heat and the guy I go to now uses a ceremic flat iron on very low heat. He was trying to persuade me to get my hair done with him.

So you know how if my hair was really damaged you would be able to run the strands together in your fingers without them breaking. He did that but when he saw they weren't breaking he rubbed them and pulled at the same time. That would make anyone's hair break. The nerve. He thought I didn't notice but I could feel him pulling my hair. I'd have to have no sensory feeling at all to not have felt that. All in the attempt to prove that my hairdresser is doing the best job, my hair is damaged so I should make him my hairdresser.

Re: This guy in the mall proceeds to pull and break off my hair to prove it is damage

security would have had to escort me out the mall that day cause I would have showed my a$$ in the WORST way. That's why I don't even pay those mall vendors any attention - their like pan handlers begging for your business.

he owns or works in a shop and saw my hair. now it all bouncy and looks really healthy so that makes people stare an extra second. being that he is a hairdresser, he could see that i take care of my hair. he said it look like i was growing it out when i just got a two-three inch cut. > 1st mistake.

believe me ladies, i;ve learned my lesson.:look:

That is too funny... i would have passed out flyers telling everyone what a hack he was.:lachen::lachen::lachen:

WHAT???????? and he's still alive and breathing??????

Me: "Well i'm a doctor and i believe you need to have that black eye and broken nose treated."

Guy: "What black eye and broken nose?"

Me: :hammer:

WOW. How bout I would have told him no. I'm funny about people touching my grass. You don't know if his hands were clean and if he were doing this to a number of random people there's no telling how "clean" his hands were. AND to add insult to injury he pulled your hair. I would have had to break out the pimp hand.

yeah i know. i've learned to not let people touch my hair and that was dumb of him to do that because if i was considering going to him, i wouldn't after that. he seems like the type to pull out my hair just to make me keep coming back to him or like some hairdressers, cutting because they don't want to deal with "all that hair."

WOW ... the nerve of some people ... I'm sorry, but I couldn't help but laugh though, because of how ridiculous it is and I can just imagine the look on your face. I mean, I don't even know you, it was two strands, and it's not my hair, but reading that kinda pissed me off. He's lucky you were so nice, if he does that to the wrong person, he's gonna get ripped a new one ...

Chica - What was this guys' name??? (If thats okay to post) I was in Northland a while ago (I live in the D too) and this guy came up to me w/ biz his card asking if he could touch my hair!! I was like uh, nope. His point was that alot of young black women w/ short hair usually wear it very stiff and was surprised that mine was done in soft curls. But why you gotta touch my hair bruh?? I am so sorry this happened to you.. :(

I don't know his name but his shap is near northland mall. He is brown skin maybe a little dark brown or medium shade. Wore glasses. Tall, slim and had a short fade and his hair was kind of straight.

I think we are probably talking about the same person since it is so close to Northland.:look:
