Does anyone know how to do this? I got braids tonight and they look great except for the hair on the ends. Not sure what happened but there is enough hair on the ends for two heads. it looks a mess. I just can't bring myself to take these out after sitting for eight hours to get them done. She told me to wet the hair knowing good and well she used too much hair in the first place.

I'm just wondering if it is possible to thin the hair out. Anyone ever have this happen?

Usually when I get my hair braided with synthetic hair, if the ends are loose, the braider has me stand up after water has been sprayed on it and uses a straight razor to thin the ends. See if you can get her to do that or someone else who is proficient at using a straight razor. Remember, only on the ends, nowhere near your real hair.

I always redipp mine to thin them. 30 seconds in almost boiling water and they're thin as issue paper, but there's no curl left. :ohwell:
