Has anyone who uses braided styles for growth (like almost constantly) noticed any thinning of their hair that they contribute to the braids?

I only experienced some slight damage from tiny braids once.
They weren't quite as small as micros but they pulled too much on one side.
I never did them that small again. And I didn't get anymore damage.
I wasn't doing them constantly.
Cornrows are the only braids that I do frequently and I don't get any damage.
But my hair is strong like grasshopper.
my hair always thins after micros... especially my edges... which is why I dont do micros anymore
Den1, what are these and where do you get them from?I've followed the c n g method for five years, and it never thinned my hair out When i was using the regular strength relaxer, i noticed thinner edges, so now i've switched to mild and use Ayurveda growth tonic and oil, and my edges are as full as ever.
I've had mine profesionally braided 1 times with that said. For me: I always have the front portion braided back and away from my face like in the pic below.

Hi, these products are apart of my haircare line, www.mydelouisenaturals.com
Okay, I love this!! What kind of hair did you use?
I agree. I did micros once and never repeated it. I prefer the individual boxed braids like what I'm wearing right now.yes micros always do more harm than good to your hair. my friend put them in and she was left with a head full of damage after![]()
