hi i would like some advice where to start to go natural one week ago i go a perm and right now my hair is shoulder length. I really do not like to get perms and i rather stop geting them so any products, or hair items i should get feel free to give me any advice good or bad.

I wish you the best success on your journey to natural hair. It has been a very long time since I transitioned but I am sure those in transition mode will come in and help soon. I imagine dealing with the two textures is going to be the most interesting.

Have you decided how you want to transtion?

protective styles?
blow drying and/or flat ironing the new growth?

or both methods?

i say only do rollersets if you must have straight hair. other than that, it is hot so if you co wash daily or everyother day and wear a wet bun thats even better. i also think the best thing is to big chop.
