:giggle: ... you never go back! Well, I think I have realized the TRUE meaning of that statement! I just did my FIRST black rinse and I have to ay I am in :love: :yep: I think my hair looks so much better darker! The color also complements my skin tone (IMO).

Any other ladies in love with black rinses?? Are any women dying their hair black permanently?? I'm feeling this color so much, I can't decide if I want to continue doing rinses or go ahead and dye my hair!

I love black hair too! Which rinse did you use?
 
I'm in love with Black hair. My brown hair dind't look as vibrant and beautiful on me as this!! I used Bigen to dye my hair, I hope it stays this way FOREVER loool
 
I'm thinking about doing a black rinse again. I did one a while ago and my hair just seemed to shine so much more, plus it really "popped" against my lighter skin. My natural color is just so dull, any kind of color I put in it helps! :rolleyes:
 
I've been rinsing/dyeing my hair black since high school. I love it!!!...Brown hair washes me out
 
As much as I want to go lighter, I know my hair looks soo much better dark. There's nothing like shiny, healthy, black hair.
 
When my hair get to about APL (hopefully by next summer CROSS YOUR FINGERS LADIES!!!) I want to go the the salon get a JET JET JET black rinse and then get it pressed straight :grin:.
 
Where the pics at?!!

I love jet black hair.

I used to dye mine using D&L then came here and started using rinses instead.

I agree with you 100%

my natural hair color is brown with some goldish highlights. I never colored my hair until 2006 when I put blonde streaks.

The first time I had black hair was when I put a full sew in with jet black hair in February. (see avatar) The stylist told me that black hair would not suit me and I need to use a lighter color. I said no I want jet black. After she was done she was amazed at how I looked with black hair.

Anyways after that I decided to get a black rinse a and I was hooked... so much so that I went I dyed my hair black. I love black hair. I don't think I want my hair light anymore.

I think I will try this once my highlights grow out. I remember people telling me in high school that I would look good with a black rinse.
 
Yep! I agree with you. I dye my hair black w/ Bigen Powder on the regular :grin:. Like you said, I think black hair really complements my skin tone:)
 
Black is the absolute best! I have grown addicted to trying to achieve the blackest of the black. I had been doing once/month rinses but I was unable to keep the color dark enough. I bit the bullet three weeks ago and did a demi-permanent black by Clairol Natural Instincts. Incredible!
 
What black rinses are you all using? I have a love/hate relationship w/ Bigen and I think I am experiencing issues from it. I need to try something different.

I just LOVE jet black shiny hair I can't even tell you. It's the best. I got a black rinse and loved it and loved it even more when it never "rinsed out" because my hair was porous when it was done!! (Not pic in avatar, that pic was taken before I had the black rinse)

I did a black rinse while I was transitioning and LOVED it. I've always thought black hair looked better on me then my natural dark brown.

Hmmm...you're giving me ideas now.:lachen:

I love black hair on other people, but sadly it doesn't suit me. I think it looks too harsh or something. :sad:
 
i dyed my hair black && i LOVE LOVE LOVE it. it looks much healthier && feels much healthier. my natural hair color is like squirrel brown, with like 8 different browns so its looked weird. but the blac is amazing. u should do a couple of more rinses to get used to it, then if u cant live without it, do permanent dye
 
I love Black rinses too and I can't stand my dirty brown whatever it's called hair color. It looks so yuck to me :barf: . I don't like that the rinse comes out so quickly though. I'm too nervous to dye my hair though so I guess I'll have to stick to the rinses. :ohwell:

IMO my hair looks sooooooooo much better when it's black. It looks rich, and healthy, and shiny. :grin: I can't wait to do my rinse on Wednesday. :grin:
 
How long do you ladies' rinses last? I just did mine on Saturday night and haven't washed it or anything yet. I want to know how long it takes to wash out.

I also plan on posting pics this afternoon of my hair color! I thought about it when I posted the thread but I still actually haven't taken pics of my hair yet. :lol: They're coming!
 
That's it! I've made up my mind. I'm getting a relaxer on Wednesday and I'm going to get a black rinse.

I'm accustomed to rinses but I normally do a color called spicy copper. Time for a change!
 
now, I just have like a general question. . . and I hope I am saying it right. A lot of the ladies that get black rinses are fairly light or like brownskin. . . I am fairly dark & and i really like BLACK BLUE just tar black hair :grin:. I mean it looks healthier and always looks luscious. My hair is currently it's natural color which is 1bish (for all my wiggy, weavy chicks). . . what do ya'll think about a lot of dark skin and a lot of dark hair. I just think it would look pretty gothish. :lachen:
