But most will agree that sounds like a lot or feel if that applied to them they would be almost bald by the end of the week! So what I'm asking from all is to compare how much hair we lose every day and every wash if you have it in a style that you only take down only when you wash so that we can compare the amount so we can assure one another it's normal or the steps we can take to limit shedding. Just a simple pic of the hair you collected after you combed your hair for the day or after the wash in your hands will be fine or both will also be fine! Thanks for taking part in the ones that do participate :)

The average person has 100 000 hairs on their head, we're supposed to lose on average 100 of those hairs in a day. If we take 100 and divide it by 100 000, we get 0.001. To get the average percentage of hair lost per day, take 0.001 and multiply it by 100 to get 0.1%, a tenth of 1%. In a month's time, we only lose 3000 hairs which only accounts for 3% of the hairs on our head. Remember that after these hairs are shed, a new hair grows in its place. Accounting for the percentages in a day's and month's time, it's a minuscule amount and there's nothing to worry about in terms of shedding if you're more or less close to the average. If you're still concerned, you can always use garlic shampoo and take garlic supplements. :yep:
