Okay I get that APL is not that impressive but it's my first completed hair goal and I'm going to milk it for all its worth!I'm not sure if this will work. I'm not at home and so am on my mobile. If it doesn't work I'll update the photo when I get home.
OP you're a hoot. I don't think APL is a small deal. It is one of the milestones that takes forever to get to and your hair looks long. Growth cycles range from 2 years to 6 years so if one has a 2-year growth cycle it means 12 inches of hair at least, which would get one to APL or thereabouts. Besides, everyone's journey is different. A tall person's APL may be a shorty's BSB or MBL.
So quit with the modesty and whip this achievement back and forth and let the world see you are all that and a bag of chips.
My hair story
I was natural until 7ish. My curls were tangly, my mothers hand strong and my scalp tender. I begged my mum to relax my hair to save me pain and eventually she gave in. Due to stretching that was only useful one month out of the six between relaxers. So I was in braids at first and then braids and weaves alternating. I would wash inbetween styles *eek* the only conditioner I used was Keracare humecto without heat.
Thank you everyone!
Continuing my story...
Two years ago I decided to wear my own hair and probably did more damage in a month than my entire life. Then I decided to look after my hair found hairlista and then longhaircareforum.com
I owe my growth to wigs. Most of my growth I got in the past 5 months which I when I started wearing them full time.
