:ohwell:

wow I didn't know that book even existed. How do you guys find this stuff?

for those who read it, what does it say?

I'm not buying it, because Christelyn was so annoying when she was a member here. Plus, I don't need an instructional guide on how to date men of other races.

Interracial relationships became her religion and she was the preacher woman. She cursed out anyone who did not want to drink her kool aid. Her zealousness was a bit scary yet hilarious. oh yeah, she was the expert on knowing what was best for black women.

Swirling sounds like a fetish.

Things like this (falling in love with someone from a different background) should not have to be so calculated. I would freak out if I found a book like that in some white guy's house I'm dating..............

Hmmm, I also thought it was the lady from the board.

I'm not against people getting an open dating book if they feel unsure, nervous or perhaps guilty about even considering it.

From looking at the contents: The chapter on dealing with conflicting loyalties is probably the one I felt most in need of when I started opening my options. Some of the other chapters I don't see the point of and it detracts from the whole process of just two people getting to know each other.

Really? If I found a book like that in a white guy's house I was dating I would LMAO! But then again I'm more light hearted than most around here.

This isn't surprising from her. Its definitely something she is passionate about.

LOL Im gonna be on the lookout in the bank manager's place. That would be hilarious and oh-so creepy at the same time.

I haven't read the book but I did know that it existed. I think something like this would probably be helpful for those who are new at IR dating or may be uncomfortable with it.

I'm an old pro, I don't need to read a book on it. Good for Christelyn on getting her book published though. I just heard her on a radio interview a few weeks ago.
