The sweetest thing ever...

Last week, he helped me find sources for my research paper because I waited til the last minute to do it...

I showed him how to do crochet braids and he did them for me....3.5hrs. :yep:
Everyone keeps asking where I got my hair done and he doesn't want me to tell them he did it. :lachen:

...Um-most recently he's been making sure my two favorite bottles of wine are kept in stock at all times at home. :lachen:

Going through a stressful time at work....:ohwell:

I can't think of the sweetest thing he's EVER done throughout our entire relationship...it's been over 14 years.

There are a ton, but I can give two.

This is a small one, but it's the first one, so, I'll go with it. One birthday I had to be at work at 6am, as I was leaving around 530am, I came out and had a dozen PINK roses on my car! (I'm an AKA so I was the PINK roses made a difference to me.)

Another time, we had gone jewelry shopping, and we saw that necklace, "with each step loves grows." I looked at it and said how cute the slogan was--I was talking about how our love had grown... Well, he went back and got the necklace. On Christmas Day he stood behind me and told me to pull my hair up and close my eyes, and he put it around my neck. I was very surprised especially b/c I didn't think he was listening.

He does a lot, but most recently...

- I had twins nine weeks ago. After my first shower he rubbed lotion on my legs and told me how pretty I look.

valentines day he gave me chocolate roses (i hate real flowers with a passion), a basketball (i nagged him everyday to play basketball, now i have my own ball and drag him to the courts), and a sweet home made card ( i hate store bought cards more than i hate flowers)

he does a lot of sweet things for me, but the latest things he did was he is in training right now and is stressed and tired, i really wanted to talk to him before i go to korea and he called me. We usually dont get a lot of time to talk bc of his schedule and mine, we text sometimes if he gets a chance in btwn studying, sleeping, class and whatnot.

he also is not mushy at all and when i was mad at him recently he started being mushy and making up little pet names for me so that i would laugh and enjoy the time i had with him.

i almost started crying typing this. i love him so much.

He's so sweet, sometimes I forget just how sweet he is, but most recentlly he brought me "just because" roses. He ALWAYS thanks me for all I do whether it's cooking dinner, cleaning the house, whatever. I want to tell him he doesn't have to thank me all the time, but I don't, I figure it makes us both feel good and if he's appreciative, I'll be gracious and just say "you're welcome."

umm... he's always sweet, but the wknd he drove around for 1.5 hrs really late one night to find me b/c he thought i was stranded in the streets.

Really long story how/why that happened, but I thought it was so sweet of him to come out looking for me.

Wow at all the lovely responses. My SO doesn't buy flowers but he did suprise me with a lovely dinner in Chinatown and dessert in this beautiful park above Yokohama with an amazing view. (This was after I told him I had the worst day ever and wanted to move back home.)

THAT'S love. :yep:

There's been many sweet things he's done, but one is that hubby took me on a surprise trip to Niagara Falls. I came home from work one day and he asked me to get together some clothes for the next 3 days and that we were going for a long drive. I wasn't feeling it at first because he wouldn't give me ANY information, so I packed warm and cool weather clothes. Then we got in the car and started driving. I realized we were going up north of course at some point, but I had no idea until we hit the border to Canada! It was a random 4-day weekend too so I was shocked. When we got there he had everything taken care of and it was a beautiful romantic trip.

I had been planning a trip out of town for a few months to attend my cousin’s graduation.

I had been having a stressful time at work and this little break was coming at a perfect time. Two weeks before my trip we found out that we had 30 days to find a new place to live. (Long story short, even though we had been paying our rent *on time* we found out that landlord had not been paying the note on the townhouse and it went into foreclosure :perplexed:angry2:, )

It was a stressful time around our house to say the least.

Since it was the beginning of the month we had *JUST PAID* rent on our old place- then we had to...
1)Find a place
2)Come up with the security deposit
3)Come up one month rent for our new place.

Both sons had baseball playoff games, school had about 2 weeks left and life was just crazy and busy around that time. :dazed:

There was no way that I could leave when we had so much going on at home. I called the airline to cancel my flight and to find out about getting a refund for my ticket. He told me not to worry about it and to go on my trip anyway. He insisted and reluctantly, I went…I really did not feel good about leaving.

Amazingly before I left for the trip we found a place! :woot:
God blessed us and allowed us to find favor with the owners of the house. We didn't have to do any credit check or extensive paperwork. The gave us the keys the same day! :woot:

I had a fabulous, stress free trip and he made sure I didn’t worry about home and all that was going on while I was gone.

When I returned from the trip I came back to our new place.

When I walked into our new place and looked around…there was not a moving box any where in the house. I was speechless!

 The entire place was *spotless*!

Floors mopped, kitchen clean, bathrooms sparkling and smelling nice.

To top it all off, in our new place, I had finally got the walk in closet that I have always wanted…

Yall, this man had *all* of my clothes hung up neatly, organized by color. All my tops were hung up together, dress pants together, skirts, etc..jeans folded neatly, shoes all in place. Hair supplies neatly in my closet…needless to say I was floored.

I think the reason why it touched me so much is because I know it was a lot of work and sacrifice and he did it all to make my life easier.

It was AMAZING all that he had accomplished in such a short time.

He told me that he didn't want me to have to do a thing!

I still call him my Superman!:superman:

:love3:I LOVE THIS MAN!!!:love3:
