The Perfect Press?!

I was researching a electric pressing comb which was similar to mine for my cousin. Being I've had it forever I didn't know the exact model so I gave her one I found that looked pretty similar.
Anyway back on topic...lol:drunk:

So I remember a while ago coming across a vid on youtube about this feathering flat iron method which uses a flat looking instrument to press hair which is looked like a flat iron meant for those heat stoves. So I did another search today and found this man who makes them himself. He not only makes the feather iron, but also a few other tools that I personally have never seen before. They look really impressive, and if it wasn't for the price I would get them in a hot minute. LOL. I love how thin the plates are and can get right close to the root. I think a temp control stove would help eliminate the burning fear. Do you think the iron is giving that sheen or a product?

Have any of you ladies heard or used his products, or something similar?

Now I see a few posts have been done inquiring about this method or iron, but I haven't seen reviews on someone who has used it, and the other posts are old.

I've toyed with the idea of buying it, but did not. I want to keep my hair and improper use of an iron like this can lead to serious burns.:nono:

it surely can DD...lesson learned from my teen years.
But it does take practice to master...and regular flat irons just don't do it for me anymore..except that blue one with the red plates my friend had..can't remember the name.

I was thinking a controlled temp stove would help eliminate the overheating, i usually use the tissue paper method to control the heat.

I think the flat iron comes with a plug in heater like the pros have. I believe it comes with a manual, too. Go for it, and, please, share your results!

So... who's going to be the guinea pig?

I know I would feel more comfortable if there was a ceramic plate on top.

i saw it on youtube a while back... i never saw it catch on tho'
I love personal testimonies

but i'm not a heat user .... but i would think the products created the sheen
looks yummy tho!
