The LHCF Side of the Story?

I am reading through the threads about Chris Rock's appearances surrounding "Good Hair". I do agree that LHCF is not the reality, but I also think our side of the story should be discussed.

So, I'm wondering why we don't get together, write to a talk show (Tyra comes to mind), and ask to share our views of haircare?

It might be a long shot, but wouldn't it be cool to have the diversity of LHCF members talking about good hair practices? We could have relaxed, natural, heat stretched, long and short on hair show talking about good hair practices and our opinions about the Black hair issue.

Just a thought.

People say no to this idea because they don't want to be judged on the monistat, mane n tail and megatek stuff and I can understand that since the media loves to sensastionlize things so people don't have to mention that they are from LHCF they can mention other hiar blogs like Black Girl Long Hair and Curly Nikki or Grow Afro Hair Long and those others instead.

I didn't necessarily mean they'd go on their saying we were from LHCF or any of the forums. I was just thinking of getting girls from here together because this is the only forum I frequent.

And I agree, let's stay away from mentioning all the crazy stuff.

That's a good point. I could only imagine what would happen after editing.

"All healthy hair is good hair. I have good hair because I take good care of it" would be knocked down to "I have good hair."
