Ummm, I am pretty sure alot of our DHs can spot a weave, good or bad, a mile away! My Dh can spot plenty, it is just not his style to expose them, and he doesn't do it.
( And dh does not care for weaves) If he said something like that, heck I would have snapped on him!

Drinking is no excuse to be mean. DH and I get our drank on out in public on the regular, but we don't use it as an excuse to cut people down.

I know may not be PC... and I did say I feel kinda bad for the girl.
I'm a very nice person and considerate to everyone... but NO ONE is perfect. We were tipsy, it just happened.

He also complimented this guy with a huge afro just a few minutes before the blonde chick.
Also, my bf just happens to be white... as if THAT should make a huge difference. There was no black on white "crime" here.

I didn't take your post as anything but lighthearted. I realized from your title and your phrasing in the post that you didn't condone what he said. You were just sharing the story with us. He'll know better next time....
But I knew as soon as I read the post that it was gonna pop off. 
(Now, you couldn't tell that it long because it was braided like 3" beyond my own hair, but that's OK). A local island guy walked past me and said "you have horse hair on your head...you should take it out." 
look: That was sort of the order in which my emotions surfaced. At first I was pissed, but I had to laugh because...well, rude as it was, it was true (not that it was horse, but synthetic). Tactless, but if you can't laugh at yourself sometimes...
