Sometimes I feel like I'm just wasting my money on leave-in conditioner because it does the same thing my conditioner does. Does anyone know the difference?

I also am wondering about this as well. :ohwell:

Some leave-in's are structured differently to work as a moisturizer whereas conditioners contain ingredients which sit on the hair shaft rather than fully penetrate, which can lead to a waxy-appearance or build-up. If you feel your hair is receiving enough moisture with just a conditioner then you may not necessarily need a leave-in. It's just up for you to evaluate.

Conditioners feel heavier when they are left in, in my opinion. I feel like there is gook in my hair, whereas leave ins don't make me feel that way.

although i'm no expert, leave-in seems lighter.
