Curious so I looked it up and found this review: CurlBox Review

I know I have seen similar subscriptions with make up or apparel. I think it's a great way to try a few hair care products, provided that the service and the price is right!:yep:

I got the curlbox the first month (February), but I didn't re-sub. The box definitley paid for itself (the curling cream alone was well over $20). But, the cream had cones (which I don't use), and the shampoo sample was a sulfate shampoo. Overall I think it's a good idea, but not for me.

this sounds great for a newly natural trying to find their staples. wish i would have found this a year ago when i bc'd.

I got it for the first box. Loved it and I am relaxed lol I did not resubscribe either. Mainly because I have my staples. I use a lot of products on my hair that naturals use or that are marketed to naturals but many of the products in the box were not ideal as far as moisture is concerned. A lot of styling sort of products. I kept the KBB leave in and the cleansing conditioner sample. I also kept the clarifying shampoo that was in there to clean my makeup brushes with (had sulfates).I gave the rest to my natural haired niece to try.

I agree that it is great for someone just starting out and want to try products. Not so much if you had your tried and trues.

Love the concept. My niece is thinking of transitioning and this would make a perfect gift for her. Thanks for posting this.

Love this concept! I would like to try it but I do not want to get any products with cones.

So no one knows if which company has been around the longest? curlbox or curlkit?
