Is a bonnet dryer the one that looks like a space hat or something? Its not the hard hat one is it?

1. Maintaining moisture/protein balance
2. Fermodyl 619 - Thanks HoneyDew

1. moisture/protein balance
2. new and better method for relaxing (despite what I'd been doing the previous 20+ years).

Is how to use up conditioners I wasn't too crazy about via pre-pooing.

Another excellent tip is now to deep condition with moist heat via a turbie towel.

Awesome!

Thanks Macherieamour!

Does anyone else get tips that they just really appreciate recently?

Wow! Thanks for this tip about the turbie towel!!! I did a search and saw a video of how these towels are used on QVC. Very nice - these turbie towels will definately be apart of my routine from now on. Thanks again or sharing:drunk:.

stretching has definitely done me good!

use heat sparingly!

This forum is awesome :drunk: I am officially addicted.

1. Oil Rinses
2. Prepooing
3. Protein/Moisture Balance

~Curbing pjism! How do you know what really works when you're using EVERYTHING? Why deal with "corrective measures" b/c you tried something new that jacked your head up? If you have things that you like/are working, why must you assume there is something better? And just because it worked for Tammy doesn't mean it's for Faye! Too, the more consistent hair practices I use, the better my hair is (i.e. Rollersetting around the same day with the exact same products. I only switch up my moisturizer) on the regular.

~Actually letting my rollersets dry! Before, I'd always get jittery and airdry or something harsh (blow-dry). Now, I've got silkier hair and my soon-to-be SO (lol) loves my curls! I'm also loving my $164 hooded dryer!

I'm so feeling Anky on the stylist! I had a hacker who also sprayed spritz in my hair and used a totally different product line without asking me! My hair is just now starting to recover...

1. Stop combing and manipulating my hair so often
2. Pre-poo with coconut/olive oil

I sprouted a new head of hair in 3 months with these!:yep:

*Relaxer stretching
*Prepooing

These are the two things I had never heard of and never would have thought of or considered. I have taken other tips of course, but these two have made the most difference for me.:yep:

I have several but this thread is asking for just two...

1) A time-saving method of airdrying and rollersetting by using a satin scarf to dry part of my hair smooth and straight. This allows me to stretch a lot longer and I've received many compliments (thank you again Sylver2!).

2. Oil-pulling. ;)
