Texlaxers: Oil in Relaxer or Oil First Then Relaxer?

So I made up my mind to texlax, i transitioned for 5 months and will try again this time next year. But I don't want to touch my nape because the curls are looser back there anyway

do you mix olive oil or whatever oil in your relaxer or put oil on your hair first and then the relaxer?

i do both, put oil in my relaxer(i put a lot cos am really slow wen it comes to relaxing) and slather on my ends as well
