Is a "texlaxer" a texturizer? What does a texturizer do? Are they good for our hair?

Texlaxing is relaxing your hair so that it's not quite bone straight. You can still see a bit of your natural hair texture when you texlax. People do it for a variety of reasons: some ladies like it because they don't run the risk of "overprocessing" their hair; some like that it helps their hair look "fuller"; and some like the fact that they still have some semblance of their natural texture after they wet their hair. Others don't like it so much. Personally, I get more breakage when I texlax rather than relax bone straight (had to find that one out the hard way...).
