Thinking About Texlaxer

My hair has gotten so thick (Hooray) !! It is unmanageable though so I am thinking about getting a mild
relaxer or texlaxer. What would happen it I get a relaxer this summer and just keep conditioning my hair
and never get a relaxer again?

Sounds like a long term transition. Might wanna check that thread out

Yeah, like what @ajargon02 said, it would be a long transition and just be more harm than good if your aim is to have easy to manage hair. After you get a couple of inches of new growth, your hair would just be even more unmanagable in the long run. I would do some type of temporary smoothing treatment instead.

Your ends will look wavier/straighter than your roots and it will look like you're transitioning, as the other ladies mentioned. I use Just For Me texture softener every 10 weeks. It's pretty much a foolproof texturizer (won't come out too straight) but I still see my new growth as it grows in.
