I am sooo tempted to take my $200 sew in out two months early!! It hasn't even been in my head for three weeks and already my hair has grown a half inch  ! I'm happy about my growth but I'm worried about the hair left out and I just miss MY hair lol..Idk how I kept my last see in for three months because this is driving me crazy! These braids are so loose! How do you tighten it? Do i have to take it out and redo the whole thing? Braids and all?

Anyone else have temptations?

For $200, you might wanna leave it in for a weeee bit longer. That would be a total waste of money.

I kno! That's why I'm dealing with it. But it is KiLLing me. Lol everytime I go to moisturize I just wanna yank it out!

LOL! I know the feeling. My last install lasted maybe 5 weeks...and that was just the braids. I took the hair out itself after 2 weeks b/c it tangled too much. Good thing about it is that my stylist only charges $75. I just wore my LF wigs over the braids until it was time for a new install. At least try to make it to the 6 week mark and then go from there.

Yea.. Im thinking of trying a wig..so I can take it off regularly. The sew ins give me great growth though

I luv sew ins but when Im wearing one if I frequent this site I will be sooo tempted to play in my hair and try new products like everyone else lol, gurl stay off of here if ur trying to keep your sew in, but in order to tighten ur braids you do have to take the whole thing out and start all over again so hold out if you can...when I scratch I use a comb with a metal rat tail and just use the tail to scratch, if you're not wearing a net, a plastic comb will do the trick as well!

I get tempted and miss my own hair as well then I remember how much I paid for the install lol. Just think if you already feel the braids loosening how much growth you will see if you leave it in a little longer.

i know! i bought a ruler just so i could measure my growth..its almost at the one inch mark [a few cm away,,the one inch line is in the middle of the braid] and this thursday will make 4 weeks! i did it on the 5th..hopefully i can get thoes few cm`s by sept 5th
