I take a multi and b-50 complex (for me), Bamboo extract and Biotin (for hair). I was taking the Ultranourish Hair as well, but realized they had mostly the same ingredients as the multi. When I run out of the multi I will take the Ultranourish instead.

2 evening primrose oil (pms)
1 garlic oil (general wellbeing/shedding)
fish oil irregulary (i dont eat fish)
multi vit irregularly (that was for hair)

unless you go to an alternative med doctor, they will not know jack about vits. Trust.

Gotta take your own health in your own hands. it's very important to do reasearch for starting any vitamin. and let me add that all vits are not created equally....

Thats good point about the alternative doctors...

I Take 5 vitamins a day

1 Womens One a Day (Pill)
1 Flax seed Oil (Pill)
1 1000mg Biotin (Pill)
1 Vitamin C (Pill)
1 Hair Skin & Nail Vitamin (Pill)

Re: Tell the truth, how many vitamins do you consume daily?

 Why are you guys taking so many vitamins??? Is that safe??? Are you thinking it will increase hair growth or is it for medical reasons???

I only take two: a multi-vitamin and Super B Complex.

I take 7
WOMENS MULTI
IRON-ANEMIC
VIT C^^
COD LIVER
B COMPLEX
VVVTHESE ARE FOR HAIR AND HAILS
MSM
BIOTIN
GARLIC
MY DOC SAYS THIS IF OK AS LONG AS YOU DONT TAKE MORE THAN THE RECOMMENDED DAILY ALLOWANCE....SHE ALSO SUGGESTED CALCIUM AND
FLAX >>>>>IT IS HARD TO GET ALL YOU NEED FROM DIET ALONE:grin:

I take: Womens One-a-Day Multi vitamin
Gnc Fish Oil with GFA (3x a day)
GNC MSM 1500 (1x a day)
GNC Biotin 5000 (1x a day)
GNC Garlic on occasion maybe 3x a week

I was taking quite a few until I saw an episode of Dr. G Medical examiner and this lady was taking like 50 herbals and vitamins a day and had a reaction from some that did n ot work well together and it was her cause of death. Since then I am sticking to multi, b12 and one hair vitamin and silica

I take 7 so far

- Calcium (my mom has osteoporosis)
- MSM (great for my allergies and arthritis)
- Omega 3's (a blend of borage, fish, and evening primrose)
- Melatonin (helps me to sleep regularly... I'll add Valerian if I'm having trouble resting well)
- Vitamin E
- Garlic oil (great for everything IMHO)
- Ultimate B's (loads of B vitamins)

I want to take glucosomine/chondroitin (my cousin swears by them for joint pain. He's always on the run and he's in his 70s) but I'm sensitive to shell fish... not allergic but I don't feel well after I take them. Something doesn't agree with me.

I take the following Garden of Life Vitamins Daily:

Perfect Food - Serving Size: 5 pills (Multi-Vitamin)
Primal Defense - Serving Size: 3 pills (Probiotics)
Vitamin Code RAW - Serving Size: 3 pills (Weight Mgmt)

I take:

Biotin
Silica/Horsetail
MSM
Glucosamine
Multi Vitamin
Calcium
Fish Oil
Evening Primrose Oil
American Ginseng
Chlorella

Let's say 11 because I know I'm leaving something out! I love vitamins and herbs and other natural remidies like ACV and oil pulling.

Multivitamin
MSM (in powder form)
Biotin (in dissolvable form)
Omega-3 (in chewable gummy form)

As you can tell, I hate swallowing pills. Will be switching to a liquid multivitamin as soon as I run out of these I have now!

I just take biotin daily (the capsules). I would like to find a multivitamin that is chewy or liquid because I can't swallow pills. Anyone know of any??

There are a few liquid brands listed on vitacost.com. I usually buy all my viatmins, supplements, and oils from them anyway.

Multivitamin (2)
B-Complex (1)
Fish Oil (1 or 2)
Evening Primrose Oil 1300 (1)
Amino Acid (half of one, when I remember to take it)
Gelatin (1)

Everyone should take a multivitamin and fish oil for general health. I add the Primrose Oil for the Omega 6, B-complex for general health, and Amino Acids and Gelatin for my hair.

2 MSM
1 Flaxseed Oil
2 Silica

I take a multi-vitamin, biotin, a b-complex supplement and CLA. I don't take these everyday because I'm forgetful with things like this.

I take * holding going to medicine cabinet to count*lol . I take between 5-10 pills a day . it varies upon what i want to take that day . my vits are Centrum one a day , nature valley biotin 1,000 mcg (i take three on these a day ) , omega 3-6-9 nature valley , super b 50 complex , horestail occasionally , flaxseed oil capusles, and vitamin e . i did a one time purchase a vit regemin from beauty 4 ashes . there are a little expensive but , to me i would pay anything for beautiful hair. it was like 60.00 bucks for a 45 day supply . i did so a growth spurt but i just didnt buy another one . i have heard very good things about HF37 but, i think they pills are wayyy to big . and Hairtopia have good hair vits as well. i think i will adding more as the new year is coming upon us . :drunk:

Centrum & MSM or Biotin in the mornings before 12, I go back and forth about every 90 days between the 2. B-complex & Omega 3 at night before bed. 4 supplements total. Occasionally i'll experiment with other herbals & supplements to experience the effects on my system...but I always come back to my basics.

For General Health:
Chelated Multivitamins (chelation enhances absorption)
Trace Minerals
Calcium-Magnesium
Alternate between Evening Primrose Oil-Salmon Oil-Super Omega
Nutri-Calm (B-Complex for stress & PMS)

For Hair:
MSM (pills & cream)
HSN
Zinc

So, wow, I'm up to 8, and all are herbal-based.
