I wouldn't suggest holding on to bad endsmy ends are a bit bad...but i won't be trimming coz i just hate anything sharp near my hair...
when i eventually get to booty length, i'll cut it down to wl, then the ends will be nice, even and healthy...
until then i can deal with these rags![]()
. I did that for many years and my hair never grew one inch longer. It's only when I started trimming and dusting it that it grew (retained) length. IMO....bad ends are a real set back for growth.I wouldn't suggest holding on to bad ends. I did that for many years and my hair never grew one inch longer. I didn't. I just texlaxed longer, but not that long. We did it last night, so I really don't know how it turned out yet (dried in ponytails and flexis).
probably...but but but my hair's growing
its grown from near-baldness (less than an inch) to very near APL since i started growing two years ago and i've never had a trim
ok, so i get it, split ends are bad...but can i leave them just one more year?![]()
My first goal was to not trim them until feb when I do an official flat iron job, until then my intentions were to nurse them as much as possible so she wont have to trim half my friggin hair off.. however..the way these things are looking..
The truth? I need a serious trim followed by a no heat for a year or so experiment which I suspect would prove my hair is opposed to heat styling.
IRL? I'll keep dusting periodically and see how long I can go without using heat.
