Tangles and mats

What are we doing for tangles. My hair is tangling and matting like crazy I'm in cornrows using mtg. Tangles and dryness city.

I clarified with suave and that did it whoda thunk.

i avoid large cornrows for that very reason - matting.

I either make my cornrows small (the size of my finger) or just do plaits (about the size of my finger).....
