Tall 5'9" and over girls with WSL hair?? How long?

Okay, so I just broke out the measuring tape. I'm at SL now (would have been APL if I didn't jack up my head last year:wallbash:), and I have about 14-15 inches from my shoulders to my waist. I think I must have a shorter torso and daddylong leg legs.

So that means that theoretically if I keep every single inch that grows for the next three years, I can ring in my 30th birthday with waistlength hair!

I'm on a serious mission now. I am going to PS something fierce for 3 years.

:perplexedI'm 5'9" and I am currently APL, I have an avg torso and from where I am now I've measured 8-10 inches to go until waist length. I have a growth rate of .75"-1" per month I'll give myself 1 1/2 to 2 years to achieve this goal.

I'm not really tall, just shy of 5'9" (like 5'8.5") and I'm almost waist-length. I personally think longer hair looks better on taller women; it can look overwhelming on short women.
I don't know how long it took me to get here as I haven't been on this hair care journey for very long, but I will say I am a slow grower, so if you are too you will get there. My hair has been long pretty much all my life, so I think that has made a difference.

I checking I am 5 10 , I know I never reach MBL or WL, I want to have healty and thick hair, my hair is hard to grow. Yes taller women look nice with longer , they can carry it well as well as any other lady. I wish you luck on your hair journey

Now don't be negative!

All hair is always growing. You just need to work on retaining your length and that will put you closer to reaching your goals. And everyone can have healthy hair, it just might take a bit of work.

I'm 6'0 and my hair is now BSL... I'm working on getting it WSL but am focusing on getting my hair healthier. I got bored with it and stopped paying attention to it and was sticking with protective styling. Now i'm getting more into trying out products and adding things like honey, EVOO and Coconut oil to my conditioners. My hair is about my hand length away from being WSL, I have confidence i'll get it there within a year. I'm focusing on a lot of relaxer stretching.

Even though i'm tall I haven't seen any difference of achieving my goal compared to anyone else. I noticed a lot of women with the same issues as me... like being stuck at APL for what seemed to be forever before breaking through to BSL. I know it's possible for us tall women to reach WSL at the same rate as everyone else, we just have to take care of those ends.

I am 5'6 with long legs and a short torso. Midback and Waistlengh on me are about 2 to 3 inches apart. After reaching Apl the other lengths are not that far away for me so I agree that it is how long your torso is that makes the most difference.

OK here is my 2 cents, I am 5'10.5 and when I bc last Nov I measured and it was .5 inches. Now six months has past and I have 4 inches of growth! But I do have a very long way to go. With my calculations and my long legs and torso I came up to have my goal of mbl by Dec 2010. And if I was going for wl it would take me until June 2011! I just would like the mbl and I will be satisfied! The longest my hair was when I was younger and no chemicals was bsl. That is my ultimate goal! I measured my nape to wl and it was over 21 inches. That's alot! But from nape to mbl is only 16 in. of growth altogether which is much more attainable for me.

But I do want the healthy thick hair being natural that goes along with the length! No doubt!

Let's see. I'm six feet tall. I don't think my torso is exceptionally long, but then again, I have nothing to compare it to.

I'm at APL when I'm stretched, that is. :yep:
It's about 14 inches until I'll be seeing waist length.
I have absolutely no idea how fast my hair grows in a month, since
I've never measured. However, if I go by the average 1/2 " a month, six inches a year, I could, theoretically be waistlength in 2 1/2 year.
That's if I don't have any setbacks and don't lose any inches. I'm
giving myself six years. ...Just in case.

5'10.5 checking in with all legs. I think I had 22" - 24" from crown to waist when I measured. I hope to reach WSL in 2.5 years with .5 per month growth rate on average with trims. My longest layer is APL, my crown and front is about NL.
