Hi can someone please advise me on what I can use on my synthetic wig to stop the end tangling? I have had it 3 weeks and washed it 3 times in cool water and it is knotty already!! Help

you can curl or flat iron it with a hot iron, not smoking comb or brush it out first, you can also blow dry it smooth, or dip it in hot water, I have done all of the above, just be careful you don't scorch it, or you will have to trim the ends or that area and try again, hth

I have been told the same thing, however you cannot use smoking heat, I guess it is a kind of trial and error, however I do it quite often, with no probleum, it makes it last longer, try brushing the tangles out of the area in question, and use either your flat iron on curling iron, try it with just a warm iron, and increase untill you get the results you are looking for, hth

NO NO NO, don't flat-iron or curl the synthetic hair. It will frizz up and you will want to throw it away. I've been there. I use a wig brush and leave-in conditioner and then let it dry. I've had mine for about a year and they are right in my closet on those styrofoam heads looking like new. Just go through with a padded brush. Start on the ends first and work your way up.

I do this on a regular basis and have no issues with frizzing up, trial by experiance I guess, good luck with what ever You decide, hth

WIG SPRAY!!!! I've stretched the lives of my wigs using this! I use DeMert. It's great at keeping your wig looking newer longer.

I agree with getting some good wig spray, one that says it's good for synthetic AND human hair. :yep: My favorite half wig is synthetic and whenever it gets really tangly on the bottom layers I spray the hair until it's wet and get a wide toothed comb or paddle brush to get those tangles out. It usually works, but I have to work at it for a little while.
