Hey Ladies
I need some help, I am thinking about getting on the Henna bandwagon for the color and conditioning benefit I have a question about this particular brand. I am relaxed and I am thinking about doing the henna treatment after the relaxer,
1. Is it safe to do the henna right after relaxer (same day)?
2. Have you used this henna brand?
3. How do you like this brand of henna?

Thank you in advance for you help and assistance
Also I do have a few permanent strands of hair color in my hair so is that okay?

I have used this. You cannot really change the color of your hair, just deepen your natural color, if you can even call it that. It is easier to rinse than most store brands. The cream from this line would cover grey as the box says. I tried that one,as well. It was a deeper color, but harder to rinse, in my opinion.

thanks for your comments, did it give you the henna shine and condition??? also did you mix anything with it? Do you still use it now?

I used it and I liked it. I bought "dark brown," and it definitely darkened my
hair. It also covered the grey (turned it a reddish brown). It's easy to rinse
out, and it's not messy at all. I plan to use it again! HTH

Thank you!! Did you mix it with anything else or just used straight out the box?

Hi Kat25. Sorry!! I didn't realized that you were talking about a powder. I used Surya Liquid Henna. I just used it straight from the bottle. I really like it. It didn't make my hair over-dry. I deep conditioned afterwards though. It was so-o-o easy to use. I've only used the powdered henna (not Surya) a couple times--it was too messy for me. I like the liquid so much better!

I did not mix it with anything but water and the honey that it came with. It did not really give me the same results as the henna I use now. It was good enough. Now, I use regular henna, like Jamila and others.

Co-signing with Honeydew on the Jamila henna! I have not used the Surya that you speak of, but I get good results with the Jamila, and yes, it can be messy, but if you mix it into a good consistency, there is less mess.
I mix mine with water, honey, EVOO, coconut oil, Amla oil and a little Amla powder.

HTH!
